  Just a little bug: If new messages are incoming, the red star at the message icon is cut by the word “Messages” at the today-view. (BB 8800)

  I notice for the Bold theme, on the pearl, as well as the older 88xx (non today) version, the active profile is displayed with an icon near the top left. Is there a way to do this on the 88xx Bold Today edition?

  Love the Bold replica for the Pearl and tried the today version this morning (UK time) however once loaded I can’t scroll below Calendar. Tried a cold restart but original today screen from Vodafone came up. Platform v4.5.0.55

  Downloaded Pearl Bold a couple of days ago..awesome!

  Tried the Pearl Bold (today) version but kept locking up the phone, couldn’t move cursor off of top line of icons and couldn’t scroll to ‘today’ calendar & messages.

  Am uninstalling and putting the Pearl Bold back on, that worked and looked great; pity ‘today’ did not work for me.

  After reinstall of Pearl Bold trackball seems slow and often locks refusing to track below first row of icons.

  Restoring from a previous backup to see if I can get correct functioning back.

  small note: It did not work for me through the desktop version “No application for your device” so I had to go through OTA Downloader and use OTA version. That way it installed OK.

  but i had the same problem as 1brightstar. i tried installing pearl bold [today] through the desktop but it did not work. the pearl storm worked fine though… i dont have OTA so i dont know how else to get the pearl bold [today]. i wanna try it

  anyone have any tips/solutions to make it work?

  I’ve been waiting for a today version of the Bold Replica theme for Pearl for months, but like the previous version, the symbols menu is very sluggish and it makes texting and emailing very frustrating.

  Realy fantastic look and work, but same problem, sluggish symbols menu. I noticed this same problem in other themes even from different developpers (developing tool related?). The only solution i’ve found, at the moment, to not browse trough the symbols with the pearl but using the keyboard to select the symbol, pressing twice on the symbol key to reach the second symbol screen. Not perfect but useful enough

  I don’t understand how to install this Bold theme on my Pearl 8130 with a 4.5 OS. I download the file ‘Bold Pearl [today] Desktop’ and then what do I do? Do I need a program to open it up? Are there any steps I need to follow? I have never done this before. Can somebody get back to me as soon as possible? Thank you for your time and consideration!

  i had a bb pearl 8100 v4.5.0.108 i download the theme from the desktop and ota and both said that the theme download correctly but when i go to themes in my bb it doesnt appears..help mee!!

  I love this theme and have been using it ever since I found it (which was quite some time ago). I can’t even use any other theme because I have become so use to having 10 icons on my home screen. With Christmas coming up I was hoping to find a red or green one, but I can’t find any with two rows of icons. Do you have one?
