The Z Man, MIA no more!

Okay so I’ve been out of touch for a few weeks now, but I’m back and ready to rev things back up and get going again.

Here’s what I’ve been up to the past few weeks. The last week in July I was on vacation with the family to Myrtle Beach, SC for a week. During this week I turned off the BlackBerry (scary, I know), put on the “out of office” reply, and checked out completely all week. It was great. I posted a few pictures below. The first 4 are pictures of my daughter (Ariyana), and there is one of my wife and my daughter (Alyson and Ariyana), and the last one is of me and Ariyana.

Now the first week in August I spent recuperating from the previous week. I spent the whole week answering emails, phone calls, and getting caught up on work at my real job. I work as a web developer for Red Clay Interactive.

Now on to the second week in August. I woke up last Sunday morning feeling like I had been run over by a bus. Every bone and joint in my body ached so bad that I could barely stand. On top of that I had some sort of bug that was darn close to strep-throat the way my throat hurt, so I could barely talk. After 2 appointments, 2 doctors, 1 ct-scan, 2 different meds, tons of Tylenol, cranberry pills and juice, and gallons of water later … it turns out I had a severe kidney infection. At some point, about 5 weeks ago, I had strep-throat but did not show any signs of having it. The strep then infected kidney. Damn, it was painful.

So now we’re into the 3rd week in August and here are my plans (in order of priority):

1. Convert themes Tour ASAP
2. Finish up my development tutorials
3. Integrate my new shopping cart to work on my site through Mobihand
4. Create a new FREE theme with some hidden perks
5. Create a new PREMIUM theme
6. Update the replica themes and put them into the Mobihand store for easier access
